Today we remember Charlie Davis—on his birthday, and in honor of his life and legacy.  As the trusted exercise rider for Secretariat and Riva Ridge, Charlie was an essential part of Meadow Stable’s story and the daily rhythm behind two legends of the sport.

We honor Charlie not only for the history he helped make, but for the heart, humility, and skill he brought to the track every day.   Here's a video John Tweedy produced for Charlie's memorial in 2018.
